I am certainly sympathetic to the intent of the gentleman's amendment to increase funding for suicide prevention outreach programs. Obviously, we all know this is a very serious problem. These programs already received an 11 percent increase in our bill, for a total of $164 million. So I do not oppose the amendment, and I urge its adoption. Mr. Chair, I yield back the balance of my time.
