“I resemble some of the remarks that have been made as of late on the floor. I want to say a couple of things. One is that a lot of us like to hold onto things, but, you know, life moves on and the country moves on. And now, 4 years later, the city council has finally decided, well, maybe the police shouldn't lock people up since the DA is not going to prosecute them. So sometimes those of us who are in political office, we get dragged along a little slower. But it doesn't matter what we decide on this issue.…”
