The American people, as always, almost always, get it right. When they wanted to pick a party that would finally rein in the abuses of Wall Street, they gave the majority in the House and the Senate to the Democrats. And you can hear from the other side that they obviously made the right choice because there's no willingness to deal with some of these challenges from my colleagues on the other side. I want to congratulate Chairman Barney Frank. I met with him over a year ago about some of the challenges in terms of foreclosures in our country. In this bill is the result of language that I authored which replicated a very successful program in Pennsylvania that we believe will help others throughout the country. I want to thank my great colleague from California, Congresswoman Waters, for her efforts to make sure that this was fully engaged by the committee. But beyond my proposal that is included in terms of homeowners assistance, in terms of foreclosures, this is a very good bill in terms of its regulation of Wall Street, in terms of consumer protection. This House, I urge and encourage that we vote in favor of the Wall Street reform bill.
