I support this resolution along with my colleagues. We must act, not just speak. Action is our Nation's heavy burden tonight. Let us began first, care for the wounded, rescue any survivors, bury the dead, heal New York and begin to rebuild the Pentagon. Second, think and work to prevent further immediate attacks on our people and infrastructure of all kinds. Finally, determine who is responsible for these attacks and for past acts that have gone unpunished and make them pay their debt to this country. Avoid harm to innocent people but pursue justice for those who have lost their lives. We can do no less.
