I want to reiterate that right now the majority is proposing significant cuts to the Federal education budget.

What is in our jurisdiction is for every student to have a high-quality public education and to protect students' civil rights.

Oftentimes the way this Committee discusses alleged foreign influence in American schools and colleges, can be unproductive and harmful.

I want to agree with the Ranking Member Scott that often times there is value that cannot be assessed or measured in higher education.

Your data may be hurting students, institutions, and taxpayers, who rely on State funding to support a strong higher education system.

I saw universities forced to raise their tuition after State disinvestment.

I strongly disagree with that, particularly as a former State legislator.

I want to dispute that because DEI programs are often used for example, first generation students, for veterans with PTSD, for students with disabilities.

It's also critical to strengthen the transparency about occupant risk and also build cooperation and collaboration among companies and regulators.

I'm grateful that we're having this hearing because the rate of human spaceflight and commercial activity has risen steeply since 2015.

I am proud to be from a State that respects the right of people to make their own reproductive healthcare decisions.

What dangers do crisis pregnancy centers pose for patients, and what is the Department doing to help regulate the spread of reproductive health misinformation?
