In Oregon, we are reducing our welfare roles by training our workers and putting people to work. This is being accomplished through a concerted effort of local, State and Federal officials striving together towards a common goal of putting people to work. We are demonstrating that welfare reform is an integrated system of job training, child care, personal responsibility, and health care.
