Infrastructure lays the groundwork for a strong and vibrant economy into the next generation.

By investing in our infrastructure and providing our communities... we can create hundreds of thousands of jobs.

It recognizes the fact that this needs to be a contract honored.

This commitment is central to the economies of my State.

It means you crash overnight when the market turns, and you melt down the entire economy, and that is where we are now.

President Obama said during his campaign that he understood this and that he would bring people together, that he would forge a long-term solution, that he was supportive.

I certainly feel like it is essential that anyone heading up this position not only understand this historic structure.

What we all have come to learn time and time again is that the issues faced in childhood very much set a course for a person's life and disproportionately so, so that they deserve a great deal of our attention.
