we must not deny our servicewomen their legal rights when they leave the U.S. soil. The current ban on abortions in military hospitals makes military women second class citizens. Now, whether we like it or not, abortion is legal. Roe versus Wade is the law of the land, and all women have the right to access a safe abortion, and that includes military women. For the health and safety of our servicewomen, I urge support for the DeLauro amendment.
