Because we barely look at that statement that comes in the mail every month, frankly, I think the Trump administration thought they could get away with this because most of us probably wouldn’t notice.

Time and time again, this administration has shown it’s willing to strip away the things people count on, whether it’s health coverage, food assistance or basic protections, all to benefit a select few at the expense of working families.

Disaster relief should have never been held up over partisan politics.

Today’s court decision is a temporary setback, nothing more. This fight is far from over.
