On rollcall number 36, (the Connolly Amendment to H.R. 1734, the Civilian Property Realignment Act which provides for the General Services Administration (GSA) to override the congressionally-approved recommendations of the Commission and allow property to be given at no cost to create open space) had I been present, I would have voted ``no.'' The Acting CHAIR. There being no further amendments, under the rule, the Committee rises. Accordingly, the Committee rose; and the Speaker having assumed the chair, Mr. Womack, Acting Chair of the Committee of the Whole House on the state of the Union, reported that that Committee, having had under consideration the bill (H.R. 1734) to decrease the deficit by realigning, consolidating, selling, disposing, and improving the efficiency of Federal buildings and other civilian real property, and for other purposes, and, pursuant to House Resolution 537, reported the bill, as amended by that resolution, back to the House with sundry amendments adopted in the Committee of the Whole. The SPEAKER. Under the rule, the previous question is ordered. Is a separate vote demanded on any further amendment reported from the Committee of the Whole? If not, the Chair will put them en gros.
