The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of the bill (before the short title), insert the following: Sec. __. None of the funds made available by this Act may be used to carry out a furlough (as defined in section 7511(a)(5) of title 5, United States Code) that-- (1) includes in the notice of the furlough made pursuant to section 752.404(b) of title 5, Code of Federal Regulations, ``sequestration'' as the reason for the furlough; and (2) is of a civilian employee of the Department of Defense who is paid from amounts in a Working Capital Fund Account pursuant to section 2208 of title 10, United States Code. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 312, the gentleman from Oklahoma (Mr. Cole) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Oklahoma.
