The real concept of our country is we get to decide, and we have bastardized that by saying the Federal Government knows best. I believe the people out there kind of know how things impact them. I think a plebiscite about what we are doing would be something that almost every American would welcome. Will there be problems with it? You bet. Democracy is messy, but it is free. Giving them the right to have that answer and to vote, that is something that was guaranteed in the Constitution before we had an activist court that took it away. This is about putting it back.
