Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that my amendment No. 1476 be modified with the change to the instruction line only. I am just doing some housekeeping on that. The PRESIDING OFFICER. Is there objection? Without objection, it is so ordered. The amendment is as follows: Strike all after the first word and insert the following: SECTION 1. MEMBER CERTIFICATION. Section 102(a) of the Ethics in Government Act of 1978 is amended by inserting at the end the following: ``(9)(A) A statement (as provided in subparagraph (B)) certifying that financial transactions included in the report filed pursuant to section 101 (d) and (e) were not made on the basis of non-public information. ``(B) The certification required by this paragraph is as follows: `I hereby certify that the financial transactions reflected in this disclosure form were not made on the basis of material, non-public information.' ''.
