ICE is asking officials in Miami-Dade County to cooperate with us and not release this criminal from jail, and to turn him over to ICE custody so we can remove him from our country.

ICE’s job is immigration, customs enforcement. That’s their job … if we’re serving a warrant we will be where we need to be.

We are giving them an opportunity to either leave on their own and we’ll help you, or we’ll arrest you and send you back.

Because local leadership refuses to cooperate through the 287(g) program, we will send as many personnel as necessary to restore law and order.
