Madam Chair, I urge my colleagues to support this amendment. Madam Chair, I yield back the balance of my time. Ms. McCOLLUM. Madam Chair, once again, I would like to point out that the rule will prevent the waste of an estimated 65 billion cubic feet of natural gas a year and save the taxpayers $330 million annually, and that is energy that could be put to work here in the United States. The public health risks, including more heat waves and drought, as I talked about, the climate change, the health and welfare of our current and future generations must be taken into account. We must take action; we must do something about this. This is a step backwards to adopt this amendment, so I urge my colleagues to oppose this amendment and to work to protect our planet. Madam Chair, I yield back the balance of my time. The Acting CHAIR. The question is on the amendment offered by the gentleman from Oklahoma (Mr. Mullin). The question was taken; and the Acting Chair announced that the ayes appeared to have it. Ms. McCOLLUM. Madam Chair, I demand a recorded vote. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to clause 6 of rule XVIII, further proceedings on the amendment offered by the gentleman from Oklahoma will be postponed. Amendment No. 74 Offered by Mr. Mullin The Acting CHAIR. It is now in order to consider amendment No. 74 printed in House Report 115-297.
