Because of the successes that I have had in life, not many people know that my life began very differently. My family was dependent on food stamps for most of my youth. My stepdad never worked, and my siblings and I paid the price for it…

One way to do this is by reducing the regulatory burden so that Title IV-B funding recipients can spend more time helping children and families, and less time waiting through the red tape.

It is just common sense, and I urge my colleagues to vote ``yes'' on this essential legislation.

We have to figure out how to remove these impediments to really moving health care forward in the 21st century.
