NASA is very ambitious as an agency.

we have already signed up nine companies that are able...to deliver small payloads to the surface of the moon.

I really believe it would be in the interest of success to start off with at least three different human landing systems...

Eventually, by the end of this year, we will be launching American astronauts on American rockets from American soil.
