They would say the words, ``I am afraid in my country.'' They would be given an asylum hearing date in the future. That date is anywhere--depending on where they go in the country--between 3 years and 7 years in the future. And they are told they can go anywhere in the United States they want to travel during that time period. Now, that is what it used to be.…”
