“Mr. President, if the Senator from South Dakota would rescind his request to yield the floor, I would like to share one thought. I think the Senator really struck the note here that it had a lot to do with the awareness of the public. The Senator knows how many hearings we had on the Clean Power Plan in our committee, and the Senator's subcommittee. We actually had 10 hearings and we had three oversight reports. I have to say the liberals really like overregulation. Does the Senator know why? This is the question I want to ask the Senator because, generally, if you are of a liberal philosophy, you want to have as much control centered here in Washington, DC.…”
