In light of the recent testimony by the Service Judge Advocates General that it is exceedingly rare for convening authorities to exercise their lawful authority to set aside court-martial convictions, explain why you can trust your commanders to make decisions to send servicemembers into combat, but you cannot trust their authority to make decisions concerning military justice?
