If I could ask the acting majority leader a question, it is my understanding the Lieberman amendment that was to be the Democratic amendment between the two Republicans amendments is now not going to be offered, at least at this time; that being the case, would the Senator object to setting the current amendment aside for me to bring mine up for consideration? Is this what the Senator is objecting to?
