“With the passage of this bill, there will be funding to improve and expand our VA clinics in 19 States across the United States, including Louisiana and Oklahoma. The facilities would then be able to provide the services that were promised to our men and women that were willing to make the personal sacrifices necessary to serve in the defense of our country. Many of our veterans have paid the price with scars, some visible while yet many go unseen such as post- traumatic stress disorder--PTSD, depression, and traumatic brain injuries--TBI. I urge our colleagues to remember that it is our Nation's duty to care for them in return.”
