While it was clear to me and to the U.S. Supreme Court that Mr. Glossip did not receive a fair trial, I have never proclaimed his innocence.

I am pleased the high court has validated my grave concerns with how this prosecution was handled, and I am thankful we now have a fresh opportunity to see that justice is done.

He cannot undo those past mistakes, but he can help our state avoid further embarrassment by firing Mr. Lepak immediately.

I respect the governor. I respect the position. I do believe he gets bad advice.
