I do know the effect of this amendment would be in the outyears we would be taking a 10-percent rate and making it 15 percent. I do know in the outyears we would eliminate the marriage penalty relief. I do know the effect of it would be reduce the child tax credit from $1,000 to $500. I urge my colleagues to vote in favor of a motion to table the Harkin amendment.
