I am critical of the administration for not vetoing Security Council Resolution 1322, which passed the Security Council on October 7. We could have vetoed this resolution. It was a biased resolution. It was an unbalanced resolution, a resolution that criticized Israel and did not criticize the Palestinians. The Palestinians have been very involved in creating a lot of the violence. This is a one-sided resolution. This administration did not veto it, for whatever reason. Now the United Nations is considering another resolution, from what I understand from press reports and so on, that very strongly condemns Israel and is somewhat silent on the Palestinians.

Lowering the threshold required for cloture, in my opinion, would be a mistake, because that is a threshold that almost by definition requires bipartisan involvement.
