I think Ohio and Ohioans have contributed a lot to Iraq, in terms of blood, sweat and too many tears. I would not want to ask Ohioans to accept a greater burden than they already have borne for the Bush administration's failed policies.

I think he is the person with the best chance given this political climate we`re in and given the way Ohio has been performing. He has the ability to appeal to a lot of independents, and Democrats will be very excited about this candidacy.
