I am, obviously, disappointed we did not deal with the mandatory side, and I know we are going to have to as a body, on a bipartisan basis.

The mandatory side of the budget, which is the part we do not appropriate every year, is now two-thirds of the budget.

We do not address the big issue, which is mandatory spending.

Health care entitlements are going to increase by about 115 percent, more than double.

Social Security Disability is depleted in 2017. The other two trust funds... will be depleted, and therefore bankrupt, within the lifetime of most people retiring today.

More education on what people can do, more technical assistance working through the States would be very helpful.

It will save taxpayers a lot in the long run.

It does have incentives. It does rely on the market.

Thanks to the work of Chairman Wyden and Ranking Member Murkowski we now have 10 additional bipartisan provisions.

I take the position that we should have an all of the above strategy.
