I would like to remind my friend that globalization occurred long before any trade agreement. My dad lost his job, his steelworker job, years before NAFTA. In fact, we have a trade surplus, Mr. Speaker. We have a trade surplus with the 20 countries that we have a trade agreement with, a deficit with the countries that we don't.
