The Department of Energy's budget authority went from $23 billion in 2008 to $69 billion in 2009 when the Secretary took over.

The Administration is treating the First Amendment right to the free exercise of religion as nothing more than a privilege arbitrarily granted by the government.

But never before in this country's history has a President made a recess appointment during a time when the Senate was not actually in recess.

the President is concentrating the power of appointment in the Executive Branch alone.

Congress should refuse to accept the legality of these appointments.
