Mr. Chairman, I believe that is a reasonable argument, but remember that most of the corporations, most of the people that have money, they are notified immediately. Their lawyers and accountants say, hey, this could hurt. That little guy does not have that option. That little guy needs that helping hand. I think it should be a 14-day requirement, and if in conference it is problematic, make it 30 days. But Mr. Chairman, we have some small business loan applicants waiting until they reach social security to make the decision. I want the people in my district to get a reasonable, timely notice. The gentleman makes a good point and I respect it. If that 14 days is confining, they have my permission to make it 30 days, but I want a reasonable period of time for my little guy to be notified.
