I think we reward dependence, subsidize illegitimacy, kill investments with our Tax Code. We must make a significant change. Also, as part of that, I must say this: I have come to despair on the Congress' intent to deal with the buy-American aspects of our law. That is why I have submitted 1-800 Buy America. I believe that only the American consumers now can really, through their consciences, be prepared to look at and shop for American-made goods. Now, I do believe we should not be protectionist in it. We cannot force anybody to buy our products. But I think we should incentivize every opportunity available for the American consumer to make a choice and to let them at least market American-made goods and products.
