Do you think that it makes sense to pass 3-P legislation with strict targets and timetables while at the same time leaving in place many of the clean air regulations that will be imposed on power plants over the next decade?
I was the lead sponsor of the Clear Skies Act, and when that legislation stalled, I was supportive of the Administration's strategy to implement their policy by rule.
The time for delay and inaction must end. We cannot wait another 20 years to change our clean air laws and save lives.
