I really believe in that. I believe it is our responsibility as a Congress to make it possible for folks to give more of themselves as volunteers, to reduce the tax burden on American families so that they have more time to spend with their families and as volunteers in their churches and in community organizations, to reinvigorate that tradition of American volunteerism that has persisted despite all of the time that we have taken away from families having to work to pay their taxes. I think it is our responsibility to give them back that time and that freedom. I know as the gentleman has seen, so many will step forward as volunteers to help in their communities and it is exciting to see that happen.
