Vulnerable religious minorities fear taking shelter in the camps of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees because of religiously motivated violence and intimidation inside the camps.

We are reliably informed that official government and U.N. aid does not reach the Christian genocide survivors in Iraq or in Syria.

I think that it is very clear that the religious minorities are not welcome and do not feel safe in the camps.

We have to give special attention to preserve these communities. It is just as simple as that.
