Today's hearing also features several bills to address vulnerabilities in our nation's communications networks, such as the inclusion of unsecure equipment.
The FCC has also voiced concerns about network security and proposed prohibiting USF recipients from using controversial equipment.
I also want to thank our witnesses for being with us today as we discuss legislation on our network supply chain security and management of our spectrum resources.
I want to see prescription drug prices go down just as much as the rest of America, and I've repeatedly voted for measures that aim to do just that.
However, H.R. 3 isn't that answer. Under the Pelosi plan, you know, this went against the bipartisan nature of this committee.
I have long believed that this Congress must take action and work in a bipartisan fashion to address the rising cost of prescription drugs.
I totally agree with you that, you know, the country came together that day.
Extending the reach of broadband in rural Ohio, and across America, is critical to ensure everyone can participate in the digital economy.
We simply cannot afford to misidentify areas as served which are truly unserved.
We should acknowledge this investment in rural deployment; ensure that government-supported solutions complement private capital instead of competing with it.
It is vital that we work in a bipartisan manner to ensure that there is a verified, accurate, and granular foundation upon which we make these funding decisions.
