There is a Federal anti-kickback statute, which is a patient brokering--you can't pay for the volume or value of referrals into treatment.

No one cares more about the air we breathe nor the water we drink than those of us that live in regions where that kind of work goes on.

Let me first express my support for your comments on cooperative federalism.

5G means the opportunity for faster emergency response times that can save lives, smart cities, remote surgery, and unleashing the potential of the anticipated 50 billion new internet of things connected devices coming online by 2020.

It is a shame that the regulations that we are discussing today go after their very livelihood.

I represent a part of the country, Appalachia, that makes this such a critical issue.

The broadcasters need to be able to successfully transmit without incurring undue cost or losing time.

We got to figure out a win-win solution to this situation where both sides come away winning.

I share your goal in that regard.

As a public power producer owning generating units throughout my home state of Ohio and a few hydro sources as well along the Ohio River adjacent to my district, I have appreciated your thoughts and insights today.

And I think you are highlighting the problem and making the case about why it is so important that these maps be accurate.

I can tell you, from personal experience, that that number is probably a lot higher in Appalachia, in eastern and southeastern Ohio along the Ohio River.

It would be premature for us to discuss those issues before or not to discuss but to take an action before the commission finishes their work.

Let's get this problem solved for America.

They want to grow. They are prepared to grow. They want to hire more people, but they can't advance their business because they can't get access to broadband internet capability.

I can tell you that in eastern and southeastern Ohio, I have young people that have to go to a neighboring town and drive some distance to be able to get access to do their homework and to do their school research projects.

I appreciate that we finally have an administration that understands how critically important it is to bend the spending curve in the other direction.

I associate my position with yours in the sense that our children and grandchildren are expecting us to address this problem now.
