I am concerned with what the scientific data from USGS on the presence of pesticides in surface and ground waters says about the effectiveness of current regulatory practices in protecting human health and the water-related environment.

Clearly the threshold issue here is whether or not the current FIFRA process provides sufficient protection to our nation's waters or whether enforcement under the Clean Water Act would provide an additional tool.
