I want to say this to the Graham family, no one who is not experience a lost of a child can understand what you're feeling. I'm truly sorry for the lost of your son, I'm also sorry that it took so long to remove Michael from the street.

Realistically, I'm going to stay here and see this through, you know, this is mine and I'm taking ownership of it.
It's never been the intention of the Ferguson Police Department or of any police department that I know of to intentionally target individuals because of race. If there is that happening it's a crime and its need to be addressed.
I do want to see to any peaceful protester who did not feel that I did not to protect their constitutional right to protest. I am sorry for that.
