Sonia Sotomayor: “I was not like Justice Ginsburg or Justice Marshall.”

The majority apparently deems it more important to free the Government from paying employees it had no right to fire than to avert these very real harms while the litigation continues.

The majority’s opinion ends by reciting the many wonderful ways in which playing sports can be valuable to young people.

I respectfully dissent.

Because I cannot condone such abuse of our equitable authority, I respectfully dissent.
