Currently, this bill does not include group quarters in the American Community Survey for fiscal year 2005. My understanding is that the Census Bureau agrees that students in dorms, inmates in prisons, seniors in nursing homes, some assisted living facilities, and those on military bases in the United States do not need to be included in the survey this fiscal year, and this will not impact accuracy for 2010.
