Sean Patrick Maloney: “This rescue plan is going to end the pandemic and it is going to save the American economy.”

The Republicans had no plan, no empathy. And they`re talking about Dr. Seuss and Mr. Potato Head and trying to enact racist voting laws down in Georgia.

I’m glad to see the president strengthening the requirements. I think it’s past due. And I think it’s our job to make sure that people understand that the Republican Party has been reckless and irresponsible on the pandemic.

And there must be accountability.

Let me also take this opportunity... to appeal for greater bipartisan cooperation on Iran.
