When you lie and state you can freeze rent - you can't freeze rent in NYCHA. You can't freeze rent in Mitchell-Lama. You can't freeze rent in market rate housing. You can't freeze rent, but you are lying and telling people you can do so. We're fighting against a snake oil salesman who has sold us a bill of goods.

Our administration has been clear that undocumented New Yorkers trying to pursue their American Dreams should not be the target of law enforcement, and resources should instead be focused on violent criminals.

This new unit will handle the entire domestic violence process for victims.

This has been a great experience, and I think that we should share what we have accomplished.

You know, we’re going to turn over the city in good shape for good initiatives and good programs, and the next administration will have to make a determination on what they are going to do with the excellent conditions we are leaving the city in.

I’m going to remain local here in local politics and local solutions.

What our transition team is going to do, we’re going to show all of these initiatives, and the next mayor will come in and then make a determination what they want to continue and what they want to bring to the table.

We know we must do a better job of eradicating violence that we are seeing in our neighborhoods.

I want to go back to school. Number one, I’d like to get my doctorate.

I’m looking forward to improving cities across the globe.

I don’t want our city to slip into a state that we’re witnessing in Europe and across the country.
