It’s a shame that so much of this drama has been played out in the public square, so to speak. But I do believe, as with the American Rescue Plan, and as with other things, that we will rally around an agenda that allows us to meet this moment.

We don't ever want to get to a place in the United States of America where the executive branch is able to do whatever it wants to do, and that the law doesn't matter anymore.
