I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: Page 49, after line 7, insert the following: SEC. 10017. GAO STUDY. Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Comptroller General of the United States shall conduct a study on how banning natural gas appliances will affect the rates and charges for electricity. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 260, the gentleman from New York (Mr. Molinaro) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from New York.
