Kathy Hochul is the 57th Governor of New York, having assumed office on August 24, 2021. She is the first female governor of the state. Prior to her governorship, Hochul served as the Lieutenant Governor of New York from January 1, 2015, until she became governor. Throughout her political career, she has focused on issues such as economic development, women's rights, and public safety.
I respond this way. With all due respect to the state of New Jersey, they do not tell us in New York what to do, nor does Washington, when it comes to policies that we believe are going to reduce congestion.
