The Trump administration has indicated to New York that it will not allow states to distribute federal funding for SNAP recipients.

To have this investment at this extraordinary time is a testament to that New York audacity and ambition.

Instead, agents used batons and pepper spray on street vendors and bystanders on Canal Street.

By aligning local elections with the state and federal calendar, we’re making it easier for New Yorkers to participate in government.

We will always fight to ensure that New York gets the resources we need to support our law enforcement and keep people safe.

A court has once again affirmed that this administration cannot punish New York by arbitrarily wiping out critical security resources and defunding law enforcement that keeps riders safe.

This ruling protecting critical counterterrorism funding is a victory for every New Yorker who rides our subways, buses, and commuter rails.

Here in New York, we’ll stay focused on keeping the flying public safe – and that means not playing political ads in our airports.

Working parents are struggling so much, and I know about this because I was almost a working parent, except I couldn’t find childcare, and that is still a fight that my children are facing today.
