I think if we learn anything from that it is to be careful about the future, protect our country, try to give the working class people in this country less of a tax burden.

Our budget reflects the reality of the fiscal constraints that we live in.

We cut taxes when we shouldn't have and we threw away a surplus on a war that we shouldn't have been involved in.

And let me just in closing say that this will be the last time you come before us, I think, in an official capacity.

I commend you for this proposal and believe it will provide some relief for families on the island.
