“I briefly just want to thank the gentlewoman from Texas (Ms. Jackson Lee) and the gentleman from New York (Mr. Higgins) for their comments. They echo the sentiments that I believe firmly, that the Homeland Security Subcommittee is probably the most bipartisan committee in Congress. It is an honor to be a part of it. It is an honor to serve with my colleagues I just mentioned and the others. Every single bill we have has bipartisan support. Every single bill seems to be like we are all on the same page, and that is really important when we have national security issues at hand. I reserve the balance of my time.”
