All of New York will miss Cardinal O'Connor. I speak for all my constituents, both Catholic and non-Catholic alike. He was a man who touched the heart and soul of every person in this country and in this world, and the world is lesser for not having him anymore. My mother was not even in his diocese, but she loved Cardinal O'Connor, and she was not ashamed to say it, and there are millions and millions of people who feel the very, very same way.
