Myself and other members of the New York delegation were not able to be here on swearing-in day because we were attending the funeral of former Governor Mario Cuomo in New York, and we were also not here to cast a vote for Speaker of the House. Had I been present during that vote, I would have cast my ballot for the right Honorable Nancy Pelosi of California, and I would like the Record to reflect my vote for Ms. Pelosi. ____________________
